Hagar is part of the Freedom Campaign at Passion 2013, and we couldn’t feel more blessed. Start learning how women and children from devastating backgrounds really can become whole again.

We can’t wait to see you in Atlanta! Until then, read the story of one transformed life:

Vatey was eight years old when she was rescued from a brothel in Cambodia. She had been abandoned by her parents and sold by her grandmother. Now 17, she lives in a Hagar group home, where she says she loves her ‘mother’ and her ‘sisters’ as if they were her own relatives. She’s been trained as a peer leader, and she helps younger girls at Hagar feel at home and secure, too. She loves God and knows that God is always with her. Vatey hopes to study to become a psychologist, “because I used to be an abused girl, I can understand girls’ feelings.”
