Hagar Vietnam was launched in 2009 in response to the growing magnitude of issues related to the exploitation and abuse and abuse of women. To maximize impact and sustainability, Hagar Vietnam has adapted a capacity-building approach working alongside government partner, the Women’s Union, as well as other local organisations, to deliver a specialized model of care.

Working with Vietnam’s Centre for Women and Development, Hagar Vietnam identifies and works with survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence.
