On March 24th 2018, Hagar’s global CEO, Micaela Cronin spoke to an audience of over 80 women in Hong Kong on the topic of power as part of the event “Power, Permission, and Progress.” Addressing the question, “What power does one person really have to combat slavery and extreme abuse?”, Micaela challenged the audience to take personal ownership of combating slavery in their daily lives by making informed consumer choices, educating others, making a personal contribution, and igniting their networks.
