“I was at the (Hagar) talk briefly the evening before the race and it was informative to know what the charity does and how they support the local communities and their clients who have experienced trauma. It was very emotional and heartbreaking to hear about a young survivor, one of the Hagar clients, who shared her story at the talk. And it was great to know that she found Hagar and it has helped her recovery journey.”
