In July 2017, our global CEO, Micaela Cronin, came to Hong Kong to speak at events organized by several of our partners including Credit Suisse, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Macquarie Group, and Female Entrepreneurs Worldwide (FEW). Micaela shared updates on the future strategic direction of Hagar’s work, and how support from both organizations and individuals is vital to ending trafficking and exploitation.
At a lunch hosted by FEW, Micaela addressed a group of female entrepreneurs, and shared how Hagar supports and promotes entrepreneurship among the women we serve.
Together with fellow panelists from Fair Employment Agency, the 24 Hour Race, and The Mekong Club, Micaela shared her perspective on effective ways to tackle modern slavery as part of Credit Suisse’s “Panel Discussion on Modern Slavery: Global Issue, Local Response”
